ADHD & Autism Specialist
Brian Roush (He/Him),
LMHC
I specialize in working with clients who may have ADHD, and I enjoy working with neurodiverse kids, teens, and adults. Neurodiverse clients often struggle with symptoms of anxiety and depression while feeling like they are crumbling under societal expectations and self-doubt—often without addressing the deeper causes. Long-term exposure can lead to trauma and a sense of feeling "stuck."
With my clients, I help untangle myths and fears about emotions and relationships while increasing skills in planning and prioritization. Together, we will challenge critical self-talk, as well as feelings of worthlessness and isolation while building confidence and self-compassion. We will address trauma and negative core beliefs with compassion and understanding.

With a background in multicultural counseling and work with at-risk youth, I support marginalized communities in navigating intersections of race, class, and gender - including LGBTQIA+ issues. I will serve as your guide, offering warmth and unwavering support in your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
I am part of Insight Counseling Collective and run my private practice, Your Friendly Neighborhood Counselor, LLC.

I practice using existential concepts, but I focus on the needs of my client. I often work with my neurodivergent clients through mindfulness and mindful self-compassion concepts & skills. I can do EMDR and some parts work to address trauma and negative core beliefs/self-talk.
