Child & Teen Therapist
Emma Heldt (She/Her), LMHCA
Is your child or teen feeling weighed down by big emotions, constantly on edge, or overwhelmed? They may seem exhausted, frustrated, or stuck in patterns that are hard to break. You might notice them withdrawing, losing interest in activities they once enjoyed, struggling to focus, or feeling restless and irritable. It can be hard to tell where anxiety, depression, and ADHD begin or end, and just as hard to know how to help.
Children and teens often don't have the words to explain what they're experiencing. Instead, their struggles may show up as mood changes, school difficulties, low self-esteem, or a sense of hopelessness or feeling like a burden. As a parent or caregiver, this can feel isolating and overwhelming, especially when the challenges feel complex or intertwined.

I work with children and teens who are navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, or a combination of all three. As a therapist, I meet young people where they are and walk alongside them as they make sense of their experiences. Together, we build practical coping skills that can be used at home, at school, and in everyday life. By gently exploring each child's unique story, we untangle what's contributing to their struggles and work toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where children and teens feel understood and empowered helping them move from simply getting through the day to truly thriving. If you're looking for a therapist who will support both your child and your family with care and compassion, I'd love to connect with you.
