If you are struggling with depression, you know it’s so much more than just sadness. My clients often describe feeling empty, weighed down, or disconnected from the world around them. Many struggle with motivation, finding it difficult to connect, or find joy in the things they used to. Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, and a sense of being a burden often haunt individuals with depression. Some may feel numb, while others are overwhelmed by pain they can’t always explain. It can take so much effort to hold things together or even to ask for help. Depression is isolating, but this journey is not something you have to do alone.

As your counselor, I’ll walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges and begin to understand your depression. Through existential therapy, we can work towards uncovering the meaning in your struggles and embrace choices to help lessen your suffering. As we uncover the obstacles to healing, you can begin to find fulfillment in your life again.
